This week we are in Jackson GA at a campground called Forrest Glenn. It was suppose to take 2 hours from
LaGrange to here but God allowed us to grow by having to leave the pickup in
Newnan GA. The truck has ran fine since having it worked on in Kansas until our trip here. It started acting up on the interstate and by the time we finally got in to
Newnan Randy was having to shut it off every mile or so to get the computer to reset so he could have some
umph to go. Even doing that it kept becoming more of a slow crawl with every little bit of ground covered until it was a question as to whether he was going to make it to the Ford Dealership. They said injector #8 was bad and it needed some O-rings. Then after they replaced all of that they would be able to tell if there is anything else wrong... but they wouldn't be able to have it fixed until Tuesday.
PTL Josh (co-worker/friend/neighbor) was able to come back and get our "home" after getting theirs set up at the campground. So after 8 hours, we finally made it and got our home set up. Yet another
PTL is that I have been driving the van (All the hours on the road moving from job to job gives me some amazing Mommy Alone Time!! Amazing what that can do for one's soul and attitude.) so we are not completely on foot and Randy has a way to go to work. In the meantime the boys and I are just hanging out at the campground while Randy's at work in Atlanta each day. Hopefully the pool will open soon as they don't have any playground here and we have limited games. Malachi has had yet another bike accident and hurt his other arm so ... he is limited on riding his bike, skateboard and roller blades. (Between his major growth spurt and having a bike with hand brakes he's definitely got a new balance system to learn.) Josiah has been working hard on getting his schooling finished from time he was down with his leg. His limp is getting better and we've been letting him try different things even though he is only suppose to be lightly walking on his leg. It's beginning to fill out and develop more with his increased limited activity. Oh the challenges of being blessed with raising boys!!
Please PRAY for my Aunt Kay and Uncle Gilbert and their families. She was going in for removal of a polyp and it turned out to be a tumor. They are going to the specialist to get more information and a plan of care. So all your prayers would be appreciated as God knows their specific needs.
