No temptation has overtaken you … or have you allowed it?

What a day!  I keep finding myself frustrated instead of walking in His peace.  Stopped to seek His leading and felt lead to get out my Young Living Peace and Calm essential oil.  I smelled it and applied it to my forehead and heart area while praying asking for guidance to how I can walk this day regaining my peace and joy seeking any areas I needed to repent and give over to Him.  I love how God works and how He uses the Young Living essential oils to  take me to even higher and deeper levels with Him with prayer.  Here’s where I was lead:
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)
13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
This verse was a part of my study time today. If you asked me, I would currently say that I am experiencing frustration and not temptation in my life. So I ponder, where is the temptation this verse speaks of currently in my life? Am I being tempted and blinded to it? or ignoring it? Is temptation in my life the root cause of the frustration that I’m experiencing?
I can so easily and … being soul baring honest today … I have actually given spoken authority to allow others and their actions to bring frustration to my life and my action or re-action to their action or lack of action. Wow! I guess that definitely feeds into Sunday’s John 15 vine and branch study time. Today, I am not bonded in and drawing from The Vine as I am called to be. Today, the actions I have chosen to walk out in response to people and environment around me … would be such that I do not see bearing good fruit – all things are possible with Christ; however, I’m not feeling joyful with my day thus far so I’m thinking I need to prune this stinking attitude or temptation and get my good fruit bearing on.  Ultimately I have the authority in my life to choose where I’m drawing from with my every breath … so I’m taking back control and choosing God’s peace.
So thankful that even in the most frustrating times, God has a way of getting my attention and getting me to stop, draw in a deep breath, release it and then draw in His breath of peace while I seek what I am allowing to disrupt His peace that He has for my life. Are you living your day bearing good fruit or needing a pruning?
I’ll leave you to ponder and examine your life, I’ve got some amazing warriors that I get to go repent to and ask for forgiveness for not bearing good fruit.  Then I get to spend the rest of my day producing good fruit and speaking good in to others that I had thrown rotten fruit at.  Redemption … what a sweet gift and opportunity!
