Back to OZ! (For at least 2-3 days!)

Talk about whirlwind ... we found out for sure on Thursday that due to the Holiday weekend they were working a short remodel with a short team thus we get to come home with Randy being the newbie on the team!  In a mad dash we got everything packed up and loaded to head back to Wichita ... approximately 1100 miles.   So Randy & I took turns driving and we drove straight through leaving on Friday to get home Saturday afternoon with only fuel/potty stops ... and boy does it show now.  I think we are getting to old for this no sleep business!!  Needless to say ... we are home for a couple days and hope to get to see family and friends while taking care of business.  Then the repeat rush trip back to Georgia for Randy to be back to work on Sunday!

Malachi Made it to the Big "7"

Wow! What a special day for Malachi. It started out with Grandpa Brown calling in the morning and waking Malachi up to sing him Happy Birthday (and for those of you that know how well my Dad can't even carry a tune in a bucket you can image what it sounded like... thus, you know it's love when some one's that excited to get a call/song like that on your birthday especially when it wakes you up! Ha! It's great to have special Grandparents who love and care!)
Dad came home from work for lunch and took us to Dairy Queen for Malachi's birthday lunch where the owner gave the boys free ice cream for coming.
Then we had all our new friends and some of Dad's work group over in the evening for a Spaghetti feed, Watkins dips (you can purchase them at http://www.MyFathersBlessing.net) & veggies, chocolate cake and ice cream, fun, bubbles and basketball with youth against the old men (Randy & Robert - Chad's Dad). The water balloons were held for a night when all were out of school ... come join us for some wet fun!!
We have been so blessed to have been placed in such a wonderful campground with dynamite & fun neighbors!

Bolden's Perry Campground, Perry GA

We are still in the Eastern Time Zone. This week has found us setting up home at Bolden's Perry RV Campground in Perry GA. Looks like we will be here for about a month as Randy will be working here in Perry and Macon. The boys have already met some friends and had our first on the road sleepover Friday night with one of our new friends, Jordan. Tonight one of the other neighbor boys, Chad, is spending the night. We have met a lot of neighbors/friends already with the boys even getting in a water fight with the adult neighbor staying across from us and some of his friends who were over for a cook out. Josiah just had to defend his mom after our neighbor drenched my back side with a bucket of water. Of course ... I was an "innocent" bystander ... kind of helping Josiah get the compartment open to get the extra hose out for him to use on our neighbor! Needless to say, once we had a hose out to match his instead of little buckets ... a truce was called! HA!

Next week finds our wonderful Malachi turning 7!!! Seems impossible. Looks like God has answered the prayers of this mom's heart by putting us in a place with kids and adult neighbors who are excited about celebrating the day with us. I don't know why I waste time worrying as God always provides. Hope you are looking for the every day blessings God is pouring out in your life.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! My amazing sons surprised me with a beautiful amethyst ring. I am so blessed to have been allowed by God to have two such wonderful sources of joy in my immediate life. (And I'm not saying that just because they got me jewelry!) God is good ... All the time!

1st Camping World Visit & Stay

Wow Time really does FLY! Well, we can now officially say we have not only been to but actually stayed at a Camping World. After leaving Jackson GA headed for Perry GA we stopped at the new Camping World in Byron GA to have some work done on our home. They were unable to get it done in one day and were very helpful in getting us hooked up to electric and water for an overnight stay. The boys and I rode bikes in the parking lot and road as there was obviously no traffic after business hours. I had forgotten what it felt like to ride like a kid at night with the cool air and the stars above. We had a blast while Dad worked on insulating some things on the underside of our rig while it was open and exposed. I may have forgotten how to play but am slowly learning again. I can honestly say the staff at the Byron Camping World are very nice and accommodating. We felt like we had moved in and had pretty much taken over the sitting room area and were entertaining any kids who's families came in to shop. They're even pet friendly ... who knew!!

This week we are in Jackson GA at a campground called Forrest Glenn. It was suppose to take 2 hours from LaGrange to here but God allowed us to grow by having to leave the pickup in Newnan GA. The truck has ran fine since having it worked on in Kansas until our trip here. It started acting up on the interstate and by the time we finally got in to Newnan Randy was having to shut it off every mile or so to get the computer to reset so he could have some umph to go. Even doing that it kept becoming more of a slow crawl with every little bit of ground covered until it was a question as to whether he was going to make it to the Ford Dealership. They said injector #8 was bad and it needed some O-rings. Then after they replaced all of that they would be able to tell if there is anything else wrong... but they wouldn't be able to have it fixed until Tuesday. PTL Josh (co-worker/friend/neighbor) was able to come back and get our "home" after getting theirs set up at the campground. So after 8 hours, we finally made it and got our home set up. Yet another PTL is that I have been driving the van (All the hours on the road moving from job to job gives me some amazing Mommy Alone Time!! Amazing what that can do for one's soul and attitude.) so we are not completely on foot and Randy has a way to go to work. In the meantime the boys and I are just hanging out at the campground while Randy's at work in Atlanta each day. Hopefully the pool will open soon as they don't have any playground here and we have limited games. Malachi has had yet another bike accident and hurt his other arm so ... he is limited on riding his bike, skateboard and roller blades. (Between his major growth spurt and having a bike with hand brakes he's definitely got a new balance system to learn.) Josiah has been working hard on getting his schooling finished from time he was down with his leg. His limp is getting better and we've been letting him try different things even though he is only suppose to be lightly walking on his leg. It's beginning to fill out and develop more with his increased limited activity. Oh the challenges of being blessed with raising boys!! Please PRAY for my Aunt Kay and Uncle Gilbert and their families. She was going in for removal of a polyp and it turned out to be a tumor. They are going to the specialist to get more information and a plan of care. So all your prayers would be appreciated as God knows their specific needs.
